RED LODGE |

The White and Black Lodges in David Lynch's television series Twin Peaks are centers of supernatural good and evil. The Red Lodge draws on some of these associations. The installation combines a video algorithmically generated in processing with die-cut paper truncated octahedra. Blood-red lights bathe the space in red light. The graphics in the video exemplify some of the investigations I had been making into morphology and basic computer graphics. The clearly visible facets on the objects celebrates the synthetic nature of computer graphics. |
