INTOPE SERIES

Inspired by Roberto Matta's paintings that he described as "inscapes," these works extend and complicate the visual language of biomorphic abstraction. Though the output ranges from purely graphic to a classical still life, in each case the subject of the work is an algorithmically formed virtual object. Completely defined as digital data, the subject exists in a realm between the imaginary and the real.
